Territory Manager (Kenya)

LEO Agriculture, a leading manufacturer of agricultural and industrial handling equipment, is seeking a driven and ambitious Territory Manager to join our team in Kenya. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in expanding our presence in the Kenyan market and driving sales success for our innovative agricultural equipment solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for your assigned territory in Kenya.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers within your assigned territory.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers (farmers, distributors, agricultural businesses) in Kenya.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring profitability.
  • Manage and develop a network of distributors and partners within your territory.
  • Oversee sales activities in your territory, including pricing, quoting, and order processing.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities in Kenya.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Attend agricultural trade shows, industry events, and farmer meetings to promote LEO Agriculture products.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity in your territory.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, production, marketing) to support customer needs and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in agricultural sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan agricultural market and farming practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Kenyan driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to travel within Kenya on a regular basis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
