Agressive Auger Design & Hockey Stick kicker

LEO Tapered top augers offer enhanced feed movement, eliminating
dead spots on top of the augers. They excel in promoting faster and more
thorough mixing and processing. The auger flighting, designed with hay cut reliefs around blades, generates a rolling feed motion that significantly
improves the mixing & cutting process. A specialized waterfall sweeper 180 degress from the leading edge is incorporated to accommodate a magnet within the mixing chamber, ensuring the removal ofmetallic materials from the mixture. Additionally, it efficiently unloads the feed throughout each pass, resulting in consistent discharge and reduced
unloading time. To further enhance durability and efficiency, a stainless steel
lead-flighting scraper is employed, strategically angled to guide the feed up
the auger flighting.

The replaceable bolt on feed kicker responsble for the majority of feed movement inside the shell is a proprietary design by LEO to resemble a hockey stick agresively moves material onto the auger creating a faster and more homogenous mix. As this is the highest wear part of the auger, LEo has created this part to be modular and repaceable.  This comes in 2 sizes to utilize as a fine tuning method to perfectly fit your ration.

Three Piece TMR Mixer Blade V2

LEO Three Piece Mixer Knives

The greatest advantage of the three-piece knife configuration extends beyond its tungsten-coated edge and superior material quality. It lies in the combination of these attributes with cost savings and the attainment of a sharper and more efficient knife blade. In a vertical mixer, knives must exhibit some level of ductility to bend and flex when subjected to impact, but this inherent flexibility can compromise knife performance and hardness (Rockwell hardness). However, with the LEO knife, you can have the best of both worlds.

The inclusion of a backer plate fixed to the auger flighting allows for flexibility, while the high-quality blade edge can be crafted from the hardest and most durable materials suitable for a TMR knife. This approach translates into significant savings for the customer because, instead of replacing the entire worn knife, farmers can opt to replace only the blade edges, which are smaller and lighter.Leaving the backer plate to be utilized many times on the machine. This practice effectively keeps the operating costs of the machines at a minimum.

*Only Available outside of the USA

Pro Tip: Given that the outer edges of the knife edge tend to wear out faster than the edge closest to the auger, farmers can enhance cut quality and maximize the usage of their blade edges by periodically swapping the inner and outer blades, ensuring they get 100% utility from their blade edges.

Mixing chamber

Enhancements made to the LEO mixing chamber complement the aggressive augers, resulting in improved feed movement. The incorporation of straighter sides, Maximum Knives, and steeper baffles plays a crucial role in facilitating a swift and thorough mixing process, yielding a fluffy and appealing feed blend in the quickest time possible, as time is money in both operator and Fuel costs.

The beauty of this system lies in its user-friendliness – it requires no preprocessing or special loading, making it effortlessly convenient for accommodating both round and square bales to simply be dumped in anywhere. Moreover, the increased auger speeds contribute to quicker and more comprehensive cleanouts.

The LEO machines feature asjustable Side Knifes Hay restrictors/stops, designed not only to halt the hay but also to cut it in the opposite direction of the auger’s rotation, creating a scissor-like effect. However, the standout characteristic of the LEO machine is its unique decagonal side design. This ten-sided flat configuration serves as a strategic point of restriction, effectively preventing the hay from endlessly circulating and thereby exerting pressure on the auger’s knives to cut through the material. What sets this design apart is its proprietary tapered sides, ensuring that the leading edge of the auger remains within a mere 3/4-inch proximity to the side wall, never compromising the flow of feed or the cleanout process.

Hay Retention

A hay retention chain in a TMR feed mixer offers multiple advantages, including feed retention, uniform mixing, waste reduction, flexibility in handling frozen or solid hay, durability, and improved feed quality. These benefits contribute to more efficient and cost-effective livestock feeding operations, ultimately benefiting the health and productivity of the animals.

High Strength SS Loadcells

The LEO Super Strength load cells are simply the high end of loadcells, do not fall for the cheap cost savings painted mild steel versions. The material used on LEO loadcells offers numerous advantages, including increased longevity, improved accuracy, resistance corrosion, and versatility. The precision machining, wiring, steel charactariztics are simply next class. These benefits make LEO load cells a reliable choice for applications where precise and durable force or weight measurement is essential in harsh enviroments.

Quality Loadcell Circuit Board Junction box

Investing in a TMR feed mixer with a quality enclosure, circuit board, and screw-type connectors is essential for achieving accurate weighing and maintaining consistency in the feed mixing process. These components protect against environmental factors, provide reliability in electrical connections, and contribute to the long-term performance of the mixer, ultimately benefiting both the producer and the livestock by ensuring precise nutrition management.

Keeping wires dry and well connected is crucial for equipment reliability, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.  Large-scale and complex weighing systems require the use of multiple load cell devices to produce accurate measurements. Load cell summing and junction boxes properly combine their multiple signals into a useful digital output to display, store, or control complex systems.

To ensure the quality of load cell measurement data delivered to operators, the individual load cells must be properly trimmed.  The trimming process equalizes the output from multiple individual load cells into a single, accurate, output. Load cell trimming guarantees the correct measurements, regardless of where the weight is on the scale.

Rugged Planetary gearbox

The use of a Multi-stage planetary gearbox in a TMR feed mixer
enhances torque, efficiency, and overall performance, while also providing
durability and flexibility to meet the demands of modern livestock farming
operations.

I mean look at the size of that thing! Its simply Heavy, Beefy, Oversized to not give problems. Give it clean oil every 700-800 mixes and it will keep on trucking.

Clinometer

A clinometer in a TMR feed mixer for level mixing can contribute to improved feed quality, reduced waste, equipment longevity, compliance with nutritional guidelines, and enhanced safety. It is a valuable tool for optimizing the feed mixing process in livestock operations.

Heavy Duty Oil Tanks

A heavy-duty steel oil reservoir in cold temperatures offers advantages over plastic, including greater strength, durability, temperature resistance, impact resistance, reduced risk of leaks, longer lifespan, and better environmental considerations.

LED Turn & Tail lights

LED turn and tail lights on agricultural equipment offers numerous advantages, including energy efficiency, enhanced visibility, durability, longevity, and reduced maintenance costs. These benefits contribute to safer and more efficient operations in the agricultural sector.
